Explain the main idea of the exercise and tell the students to record carefully the data in their notebooks. The main objective is measuring, on the same condition for different gases, the relationship between pressure and volume at constant temperature (isothermal law) and the relationship between temperature and pressure at constant volume (isochoric law). The students will repeat the exercise with the following gases: H2 hydrogen, He2 helium, N2 nitrogen, Xe xenon, CO2 carbon dioxide, ideal gas, CCl4 Carbon tetrachloride
Download the Table.rtf file, create the ISOTHERM table for T1 and T2 and the ISOCHOR table for V1 and V2 with your data. Then upload the tables in the Classwork Report |
